Summation Research Inc. Selected to Provide Telemetry Signal Simulation System for U.S. Navy Flight Test Range
Melbourne, FL – April 2025
Summation Research Inc. (SRI) is proud to announce that it has been selected to deliver its advanced RM-6322 Telemetry Signal Simulator to support operations at a U.S. Navy flight test range. This award reinforces SRI’s reputation as a trusted provider of test and evaluation instrumentation across Department of Defense (DoD) test environments.
The RM-6322 is a proven solution explicitly developed for ground-based validation and performance assessment of telemetry systems prior to live flight operations. Engineered for flexibility and reliability, the system includes several mission-critical features:
- Real-Time Strip Charts for DQM/DQE: The RM-6322 offers integrated live strip chart displays that allow operators to monitor Data Quality Metrics (DQM) and Data Quality Evaluation (DQE) in real-time—ensuring complete visibility into test signal integrity and ground system performance.
- Space-Time Coding (STC): The RM-6322 supports complex multi-path environments and features STC support to enhance telemetry robustness and validate system performance under degraded channel conditions.
- Automated Testing and Scripting: Designed with ease-of-use in mind, the system includes robust automation capabilities, enabling fully scripted test sequences, fast repeatability, and minimal operator overhead during pre-mission verification workflows.
With multiple operational modes and PRN sequences, the RM-6322 continues to evolve with the needs of the U.S. test and training range community. By providing test signal simulation for link validation, bit synchronizer performance, and best source selection (BSS) verification, the RM-6322 remains an essential tool in the validation of telemetry ground stations.
SRI is honored to expand its role in supporting U.S. Navy test range operations and looks forward to continued collaboration with mission-critical stakeholders across the DoD.
