SRI Achieves ISO 2001:2015 Certification
Summation Research, Inc. (SRI) is pleased to announce its Quality Management System and implementation has been certified to be in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. The audit and certification were performed by DEKRA Certification, Inc. (DCI), a leading international audit and certification organization. As part of the certification process, DEKRA and SRI engaged in a rigorous audit of business, management, and support processes.

ISO 9001:2015 the world’s most recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It employs a risk-based approach, identifying risks and opportunities, deriving appropriate measures, and evaluating their effectiveness. Prime Contractor Selects SRI for Advanced Telemetry C2 Equipment Modernization Program
SRI today announced they have been selected by a major Prime Contractor for Engineering services in support of the modernization of ground-based mobile telemetry ground stations.
For over 20 years, SRI has provided rugged RF Receivers and Exciters for government transportable tactical telemetry systems. This contract continues the successful deployment of SRI’s 1000, 4000, and 5000 Series C2 Telemetry Ground Equipment in critical satellite telemetry applications worldwide.

Aerovas, Inc. Acquires Summation Research, Inc.
Aerovas, Inc. today announced the acquisition of Summation Research, Inc, (SRI), a Melbourne, FL based provider of advanced communications and signal processing equipment. SRI will operate under the existing leadership of Todd Gross and Gary Sheets as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aerovas.
SRI is a Florida-based small business, designing and manufacturing communications and telemetry hardware and systems. SRI’s focus is RF and signal processing products and modules, specializing in satellite, launch, and flight telemetry, and RF Generation and Signal Simulation. SRI provides quality products and services to Commercial, Civil, and Defense customers worldwide.

SRI Delivers Advanced RF Telemetry Signal Simulators to White Sands Missile Range
SRI to provide RM-6322 RF Exciter and Telemetry Signal Simulators to White Sands Missile range in support of Missile Defense Agency contract.
The advanced wideband signal simulators are ideal for pre-mission checkout and boresight testing of Department of Defense flight test range ground systems. This contract continues SRI’s successful track record at White Sands Missile Range of providing affordable and reliable test and measurement instrumentation.

GE Transportation, a Wabtec Company, Selects SRI Data Radios For Class 1 Fleet Modernization
Summation Research, Inc. (SRI) today announced it has been selected to provide advanced Multi-Mode Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Data Radios to GE Transportation, now Wabtec, for use in Locotrol® locomotive distributed power control systems to be deployed in a fleet-wide modernization of a leading US Class 1 railroad.
With over 60,000 data radios fielded since 1999, SRI has provided reliable UHF and VHF Mobile Data Radios to the meet the demanding needs of railroad users worldwide. SRI radios operate in the harsh temperature and vibration conditions commonly experienced in freight locomotives.

SRI Awarded SBIR for Hypersonic Telemetry Channel Simulator
Summation Research, Inc (SRI) today announced the award of a Phase 1 SBIR contract by AFWERX under a Commercial Solutions Opportunity solicitation. The Air Force CSO program enables the U.S. Air Force to adapt cutting-edge, commercially available technology to rapidly and affordably address difficult technical challenges.
SRI was selected to upgrade its commercially available RF Exciter and Telemetry Test Signal Simulator to adequately model and simulate complicated RF signal impairments due to the plasma sheath effects of hypersonic flight. The proposed Hypersonic Telemetry Channel Simulator (HTCS) extension to SRI’s RM‐6300 RF Exciter and Telemetry Signal Simulator will help accelerate the development, optimization, and testing of vehicle command and control RF links during hypersonic flight.
